Forehand

Cleaner contact, better topspin, and a forehand you can trust under pressure.

Quick start
  • Use a compact backswing and meet the ball in front.
  • Brush up the back of the ball for topspin (not a flat slap).
  • Aim big: heavy topspin deep middle is a safe default.
Common mistakes
  • Big backswing that breaks timing on faster balls.
  • Late contact (ball beside your body) causing spray and pop-ups.
  • Trying to hit hard without spin control.
Drills
forehanddrivetopspin
  • Crosscourt forehand dinks to a target cone (touch first, then pace).
  • Third-shot drive: 10 balls at 70% power, deep middle.
  • Two-ball pattern: drive → soft reset → repeat.
